It is always good form to send a thank you note to a sponsor or facility that contributed to one of our events. As an event organizer you should always follow up with a typed or handwritten thank you note. Here are some examples.

Last Sunday January 25th everyone who participated in the Ferrari Club of Las Vegas tour out to the Pahrump Winery and to your racetrack enjoyed it immensely. Stopping off along the way to take 4 parade laps behind you around the course was definately the highlight of the day. Few of our members had ever been on a track before. There were about 18 cars in all that participated, and everyone absolutely loved it.

Many of us then planned to participate in Steve Mason's www.track-star.net Spring Mountain track event scheduled for this Sunday, Feb 8th as it catered to novices and they offered to loan out helmets. Unfortunately it was subseqently cancelled only a few days ago due to a death in the organizer's family to the disappointment of us all.

As most of the Ferrari Club members do not have helmets of their own yet, loaner helmets were a big plus for them. Is there any chance of getting a few loaner helmets for Ferrari Club novices in upcoming events? I've checked around in Las Vegas and have found no place to buy SAE approved helmets in town.

The Porsche Club of America Las Vegas Chapter has asked members if they would be interested in a weekday drivers school event at your facility. If they wish, I will ask everyone in the Ferrari Club if they would like to participate. Knowing that there might be a possibility of loaner helmets would be a hugh advantage to participation. Hopefully more of our members will become involved in upcoming track events to the point where we may someday have enough interest to promote our own event.

We stopped off along the way to take 4 parade laps around the Spring Mountain Motor Sports Park Race Track. Few of our members had ever been on a race track before so it was very exciting for us. There were about 28 of us in all that participated, and everyone absolutely loved it.

Luncheon at your restaurant was very enjoyable. The entrees were all delicious. Your staff is very courteous and professional. It was very good of you to provide the reserved parking, and to so graciously provide for more persons than originally anticipated.

Thank you for being excellent hosts. The special acommodations were most appreciated! We hope to visit your fine establishment again next year if you will have us.
