Friday, August 19, 2005 - Concorso Italiano
Paul Hesselgesser is to be congratulated. At the recent
Concorso Italiano in Monterey,
Paul’s 288 GTO was presented with a Gold Award.
As most of you know, the Concorso is one
of the largest gatherings of Ferraris and Italian cars in the country. It is really very
special for Paul’s car to be recognized in that kind of company, and all of us in the
Las Vegas club should be very proud of him.
Additionally, Paul got a special assist from Carla Lindert. Because of a foul-up in
Concorso’s pre-registration process, Paul’s car was not listed to be judged.
Fortunately, Carla was a member of the on-site registration team, and pulled the strings to enable him to participate.
Attached is a picture Carla took of Paul’s car on the podium when the award was presented. (And yes, he’s in there driving it!)
