The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway extended an invitation for us to join them as their guests. Our own Steve Travis with the red 1991 Ferrari 348ts drives the pace car at the Bullring for every event. The evening was free for all of us to attend and included a car display and a parade lap of our cars around the track made famous by Kyle and Kurt Busch of NASCAR fame. We arrived by 4:00 just to make sure we were all in position before the spectator gates opened at 5 p.m. The Speedway's 3/8-mile asphalt oval included our parade lap and then NASCAR-sanctioned stock car racing. The parade lap started at about 5:30, and racing started at 5:45 p.m. This was a great chance to run parade laps at the Bullring and a good opportunity for a great night of fun! Thanks to Chris Tromba and Steve Travis for making the arrangements. |
